Unprecedented Leadership : Women's Empowerment and Climate Crisis Series

Taranaki, New Zealand

Inspired by Project Drawdown’s clarity about the potent carbon reducing impacts of women’s leadership, Climate Change & Consciousness vision holder Stephanie Mines went into action. With her colleague Ingrid Vercammen, founder of Women Beyond Ordinary, Stephanie organized a series of programs to highlight, nurture, support and amplify women’s Unprecedented Leadership.

February 12: Entrepreneurial Women: Stephanie and Ingrid meet with The Network, an organization of entrepreneurial women in Taranaki to introduce climate consciousness into their concept of leadership in businesses, human service agriculture, fine foods, health and healing, journalism and social networking. Environmentally savvy women make carbon zero decisions and succeed through their connection to the Earth.

February 20-21: Unprecedented Leadership: Stephanie and Ingrid facilitate an in-depth, awakening program for women in collaboration with Active Taranaki. Fusing the principles of Climate Change & Consciousness and the TARA Approach, along with Ingrid’s Women Beyond Ordinary vision, this is the template for a more expanded program soon to be available as a webinar series. Each woman is supported in stepping into authentic and unprecedented leadership, removing the obstacles to her emergence, and sustaining her confidence and capacity to move forward with a relaxed and expanded nervous system. Participants see how to make Gaia friendly decisions in the workplace in regard to all aspects of business.

March 5: Women’s Empowerment and Climate Crisis:  Four women who are passionate voices for Our Living Earth speak from their perspectives as mothers, professionals, artists and healthcare providers. The panel members share how their lives are dedicated to and woven into meeting the climate crisis. Environmental artist Teresa Goodin, Natural Medicine practitioner Corryn Grace, and engineer and community organizer Kama Burwell join Stephanie to explore the role of women’s leadership in a climate changing world and why this matters for the future of the Earth and humanity.
