Climate Change & Consciousness (CCC) and OzGREEN are collaborating to bring global youth together in “YOUth LEADing the World.”
As CCC Founder and Vision Holder Dr. Stephanie Mines says, “After months dialoguing about the many generative possibilities, CCC and OzGREEN have joined forces to reach many of the indigenous youth affiliated with our network in what are called “Walking the Land” initiatives.
YOUth LEADing the World is an international program connecting young people ready to tackle environmental challenges with positive action plans.. OzGREEN Co-Founder, Sue Lennox who ignited this innovation says,: “I have seen young people become incredible influencers - through their actions. They have changed their communities. We have essentially been briefed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to completely redesign our societies in the shortest space of time. The kind of innovation and leadership work that we do is absolutely critical to this and it certainly gets me out of bed every morning.”
YOUth LEADing the World transmutes despair into inspired action. The program is completely youth-focused and nurtures game-changing youth leadership. Facilitators walk beside youth; adults follow and youth lead.
